Rahul woke up with a smile that just wouldn't leave his face.
He felt different today happier, lighter.
He went through his morning routine, still smiling to himself, and slipped into his police uniform.
Before leaving, he glanced at the bed. Ishani was still fast asleep, looking so peaceful and beautiful that his heart skipped a beat.
For a second, he really wanted to go over and just hold her, but he felt a little shy.
He didn't quite know how to react, so he just stood there for a moment before turning away and walking toward Ishaan's room.
"Hey, champ," he whispered, gently waking him up. "Time to get up, champ. Don't want to be late for school."
Ishaan rubbed his eyes and groaned. "Hmm, okay... I'm getting up."
"Come on," Rahul said, his voice warm. "I've already pulled out your uniform. I'm heading to the kitchen to make breakfast. Get ready and come join me."
"Okay." Ishaan said
Rahul headed to the kitchen, humming to himself while he cooked.
A little while later, Ishaan walked in, looking sharp in his school uniform.
"Good morning, champ!" Rahul said with a bright smile.
"Good morning," Ishaan replied.
Rahul pointed toward the room. "Go on, be a good boy and wake your mumma up, will you?"
Ishaan nodded and ran to the bedroom. "Mumma! Wake up!"
Ishani stirred and opened her eyes.
She saw Ishaan standing there, already dressed for school, and her eyes darted around the room looking for Rahul.
When she realized he wasn't there, she sat up and pulled Ishaan close.
"Ishaan, baby, you're already ready for school?" she asked, a little surprised.
"Yeah," Ishaan said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, baby," Ishani said, feeling guilty. "Mumma didn't get you ready today."
Ishaan just shrugged with a cute, proud look. "It's okay, Mumma. I'm a big boy now. I can do it myself."
Ishani smiled, her heart melting. "Alright then. You go on ahead. I'll go get ready and then I'll come make breakfast."
"Papa already made breakfast," Ishaan told her.
Ishani blinked in surprise. "He did?"
Ishaan nodded.
Ishani let out a soft, happy sigh. "Okay, go ahead and start eating. I'll
be there in a bit."
"Okay!" Ishaan said, running back to the dining area.
Ishani stepped out of the bathroom, her face still flushed with a shy, lingering glow.
As she walked into the dining area, she saw Rahul and Ishaan sitting together, already midway through their breakfast.
She pulled out a chair and sat down.
Without a word, Rahul slid a plate toward her, serving her breakfast with a small, attentive smile.
She took a bite, the quiet atmosphere between them thick with unspoken questions.
They were both still reeling from last night the confession, the proposal and neither of them knew exactly how to act or what to say next.
Ishani noticed Ishaan suddenly stopped eating, his brow furrowed as if he were deep in thought.
"Ishaan?" she asked gently. "What's wrong? Is the breakfast not good?"
Ishaan, looked up at her with innocent, searching eyes. "Mumma, is Mannat Didi getting a baby brother or sister?"
Ishani blinked, confused. "What? Who told you that?"
"Mannat Didi told me," Ishaan replied seriously. "She said in nine months, a small baby brother or sister is coming."
Rahul and Ishani froze, exchanging a look of pure shock.
"When did Mannat tell you this?" Ishani asked, her voice a little breathless.
"Yesterday," Ishaan said. Then, his face fell slightly. "I want one too, Mumma. Why am I not getting a baby brother or sister?"
Rahul, who had been taking a sip of water, suddenly started coughing violently, choking on his food.
Ishani turned to look at him, her face turning bright red with embarrassment.
Rahul was staring at his plate, blushing furiously as if he were trying to disappear into the table.
Ishani cleared her throat, trying to regain her composure.
She turned back to Ishaan, her voice soft but strained. "Ishaan, baby... the baby Mannat Didi is getting that will be your baby brother or sister too. You'll be their big brother. So why do you need a different one?"
Ishaan paused, processing her words slowly.
He thought about it for a long moment, then his face lit up with a brilliant, genuine smile."Really? It will be my brother or sister?"
Ishani smiled, her heart warming at his innocence. "Yes, Ishaan. Of course."
Ishaan cheered, looking completely satisfied and happy, and went back to his breakfast as if the biggest mystery in his world had finally been solved.
The three of them finished breakfast in a comfortable, domestic silence.
Once they were done, Rahul turned to his Ishaan.
"Go grab your school bag, champ. It's time to head out," Rahul said.
Ishaan nodded and scampered off. As soon as the boy was out of earshot, the air between Rahul and Ishani shifted.
"Did you know Deeksha was pregnant?" Ishani asked, looking at Rahul.
Rahul shook his head, looking genuinely surprised. "No, I had no idea."
"So, they didn't tell either of us," Ishani mused, her brow furrowing slightly.
"I guess not," Rahul replied.
Before they could say anything more, Ishaan returned, his school bag slung over his shoulder.
"Ready to go, champ?" Rahul asked, his voice returning to its cheerful tone.
"Yes" Ishaan said.
Ishani walked over and pressed a soft,
lingering kiss to Ishaan's forehead. "Bye, Ishaan! Have a great day."
"Bye, Mumma!"Ishaan said
Rahul reached out, taking Ishaan's hand in his.
As he turned to leave, Ishani's voice stopped him."Rahul, wait you forgot your handkerchief."
Rahul turned back, holding out his hand.
Ishani stepped forward, placing the handkerchief into his palm.
But instead of pulling back, she lingered for a split second, leaned in, and planted a quick, soft kiss on his cheek.
Rahul froze.
He stood there completely stunned, his eyes wide as he looked at her.
Ishani just stood her ground, offering him a bright, mischievous, and incredibly beautiful smile.
His heart started hammering against his ribs, beating so loudly he was sure she could hear it.
He could barely find his voice.
"B-bye," he stammered, his face heating up.
He didn't wait for her to respond he quickly turned and led Ishaan toward the door, his heart racing faster than it ever had before.
Ishani stood in the doorway, watching them walk away, a warm, content look on her face as she savored the moment.
Later that morning, Ishani headed over to Deeksha's house. Just as she reached the door, she saw Deepak coming up with Mannat, ready to head to school.
Ishani stepped in front stopping them with a warm smile.
"Congratulations, Deepak!" she exclaimed.
Deepak looked surprised. "Congratulations? For what, Bhabhi?"
Ishani's smile widened. "You didn't tell me, but I heard the news. Congratulations on becoming a father for the second time!"
Deepak's face lit up, and he gave her a sheepish grin. "Thank you so much, Bhabhi! We were actually going to tell everyone soon, but with everything you were going through your health and all we just didn't want to add any stress."
"Nonsense," Ishani said, waving a hand dismissively. "I'm perfectly fine now, and this is such wonderful news! You definitely owe me some sweets for this."
Deepak laughed, checking his watch. "Absolutely! I promise, plenty of sweets once we're back. Right now, I really need to get Mannat to school."
"Of course, go ahead," Ishani said.
After watching them drive off, she headed inside. Deeksha was in the middle of getting ready for work.
Seeing Ishani, she beamed. "Didi! What a surprise! You're out early today. Is everything okay?"
"Everything is wonderful," Ishani said, settling onto the sofa. "I just wanted to drop by and see you."
As they talked, Ishani noticed something. "You know, Deeksha, I was just thinking... you and Deepak have different schedules these days. You don't travel together anymore?"
Deeksha smiled as she grabbed her bag. "Oh, not anymore, Didi. I actually bought my own car recently, so I prefer driving myself to work. Deepak takes Mannat to school, and then he heads straight to the police station."
Ishani looked around the room, a wave of nostalgia hitting her. "So many years have passed, Deeksha. Everything has changed so much, hasn't it?"
Deeksha paused, her expression softening as she looked at her. "Maybe some things have changed, Didi, but the important ones? They're exactly the same."
Ishani nodded slowly, then decided to bring up the news. "By the way... why didn't you tell me you were expecting?"
Deeksha froze for a second, then let out a soft laugh. "Who told you ?"
"Ishaan" Ishani said.
Deeksha sat down beside her, holding Ishani's hand. "We were worried, Didi. With how unwell you were, everyone was so stressed. We just wanted to wait for the right moment. Please don't be upset."
Ishani squeezed her hand affectionately. "I'm not upset at all. I'm just so happy for you. Once again, congratulations!"
Deeksha looked at Ishani with a soft, misty-eyed smile. "Thank you, Didi. It means a lot."
Ishani leaned in a little closer, her eyes searching Deeksha's face with a mix of curiosity and warmth. "Tell me, Deeksha... you've truly started to love him, haven't you? Like, really love him?"
Deeksha didn't look away. She let out a breathy laugh, almost surprised by the question herself. "How could I not, Didi? You see the way he is. He doesn't just 'look after' me he practically breathes for my comfort. Every little thing I need, he anticipates it before I even have to ask."
Ishani felt a genuine smile spread across her face. It was such a relief to hear her say those words. "That is so wonderful to hear. It truly makes me happy."
Deeksha turned, staring out the window for a moment, her expression turning reflective. "Honestly, Didi... in the beginning, I was terrified. I kept thinking, what if he turns out just like Papa? I was so scared of repeating the past. But he isn't like that at all. He's everything I never knew I deserved."
She looked back at Ishani, her hands instinctively resting on her stomach. "That's why this second pregnancy feels so special to me. The first time around... things were different, and he couldn't be there for the journey the way he wanted to. But this time? He's going to see everything. Every little change, every heartbeat, every step of the way. He's going to be right here."
Ishani reached out, covering Deeksha's hand with her own. "You love him deeply, don't you?"
"More than I ever thought I was capable of," Deeksha confessed, her voice barely a whisper.
"That is a beautiful thing, Deeksha," Ishani said softly.
Deeksha checked her watch and stood up, smoothing her clothes. "Didi, I'm so sorry, but I really have to head to the office now. Let's sit properly and talk more when I'm back, okay?"
"Of course, go on," Ishani said, standing up to see her off. "Have a great day."
"Bye, Didi!"As Deeksha walked out, her bag slung over her shoulder,
Ishani stood in the doorway and watched her go.
She felt a profound sense of peace settle in her heart.
Seeing the life Deeksha and Deepak had built a life rooted in genuine love and mutual respect made her feel incredibly happy.
The shadows of the past seemed so far away now, replaced by the warmth of the future they were creating together.
After dropping Ishaan off at school, Rahul turned to head back to his car, but stopped when he saw Deepak's vehicle pull up nearby.
Deepak had just dropped off Mannat, and as he walked toward Rahul, he took one look at his face and stopped dead in his tracks, a wide, knowing grin spreading across his face.
"Well, well," Deepak teased, his voice full of mischief. "I can tell just by looking at you today is officially your best day ever, isn't it?"
Rahul blinked, genuinely confused. "How on earth do you know that?"
Deepak laughed, tapping his temple. "I know everything, Rahul. I'm practically an expert at reading you."
Rahul made a face, playfully annoyed. "You know, you never told me you're going to be a father again."
Deepak countered instantly, "And you didn't tell me why you're walking around with such a massive grin today!"
Rahul couldn't help it he let out a bashful smile, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.
Deepak burst out laughing. "Oh my god! Look at you! You're acting exactly like you did back when you used to spend all your time daydreaming about Ishani Bhabhi like a complete lovesick fool."
Rahul looked down, his smile widening even more. "She proposed to me last night, Deepak."
Deepak's jaw dropped. "What? Seriously?" He pulled Rahul into a warm, celebratory hug. "That is the best news! Is that why you've got a lipstick mark on your cheek?"
Rahul panicked, frantically touching his face. "What? Where?"
"Right there on your right cheek," Deepak chuckled, pointing. "Looks like Ishani Didi gave you a little kiss."
Rahul felt his face burn with embarrassment as he quickly wiped the mark away.
Deepak just kept laughing. "Come on, man, it's about time your story actually moved forward!"
"I don't know, Deepak," Rahul confessed, looking troubled. "I still get so shy when I'm around her."
Deepak shook his head, looking at
him with mock exasperation. "Are you serious? Usually, it's the girls who get shy, and here you are blushing like a schoolboy. Be a man, Rahul!"
Rahul tilted his head, looking genuinely puzzled. "What exactly am I supposed to do to 'be a man'?"
Deepak rolled his eyes. "Do I have to teach you that too? Look, this is your relationship you two need to figure out your own rhythm and grow together."
Rahul nodded, finally feeling a bit more grounded. "Fair enough."
"Good," Deepak said, heading toward his car. "I'm off to the police station. Bye!"
"Okay, bye! And seriously congratulations on the baby," Rahul called out.
"Thanks, brother!" Deepak replied, hopping into his car and pulling away toward the station.
Rahul stood there for a moment, letting the joy of the morning sink in, before finally heading toward his own car, ready to take on the day with a renewed sense of happiness.
Ishani was left alone at home, the silence of the house making her realize just how much she missed Rahul.
The longing for his company was too much to bear, so she pulled out her phone and sent him a quick text.
"Rahul, are you free today? Should we go out somewhere? Ishaan has a half-day at school, so we could plan something," she typed, her heart racing as she hit send.
A few moments later, her phone chimed.
Rahul had replied: "Hmm, that sounds perfect. Let's go."
Ishani's face lit up. She quickly typed back, "How about a movie?"
Rahul replied almost instantly, but with a practical thought, "That sounds good, but do you think Ishaan will be okay? He usually gets overwhelmed by the noise in movie theaters."
Ishani paused, biting her lip. He was right, as always. She thought for a second before replying, "You're right. We can't take him there."
Rahul's next message came through quickly: "We could leave him with Rajni Aunty for a few hours. He could play with Mannat there."
Ishani considered the idea. It would be a relief for Ishaan, and it would give them some much-needed time together.
She smiled, feeling a sudden surge of excitement. "That's a great idea. Let's do it."
"Okay then," Rahul wrote back. "Why don't you go ahead and book the tickets?"
"Sure thing!" she replied.
As she closed the chat, both of them were left staring at their screens with wide, uncontrollable smiles, anticipating the time they were about to spend together.
A little later, Rahul arrived, bringing Mannat and Ishaan home together.
Ishani was already waiting, dressed in a beautiful saree, looking absolutely radiant for their movie date.
When Rahul walked through the door and saw her, he froze.
He just couldn't take his eyes off her, his gaze lingering with pure admiration.
Ishani caught him staring and gave him a soft, shy smile, and he finally shook himself out of his trance, smiling back.
"Ishaan, baby, how was your day at school?" Ishani asked, kneeling to greet them.
"It was good," Ishaan replied with a small smile.
"Great! Let's get you out of that school
uniform," Ishani said gently. "After that, you're going over to Mannat Didi's house to finish your homework with her, okay?"
"Okay, Mumma!" Ishaan chirped.
Ishani took Ishaan to get him settled, while Rahul went to change out of his crisp police uniform and into something more comfortable for the afternoon.
After Ishani made sure Ishaan had eaten and dropped him off safely at the deepak house', she returned to the living room.
Rahul was waiting, looking relaxed and dashing. "Ready to go?" he asked.
"Let's go," Ishani replied.
They walked to the car together.
As Rahul drove, Ishani couldn't help but keep her eyes on him.
She watched his hands on the steering wheel, the way he focused on the road, and just felt a deep sense of peace.
Every few minutes, Rahul would glance over at her, his eyes crinkling with a warm, loving smile.
When they reached the theater, Rahul insisted on buying popcorn for them.
They headed inside, the dim lights of the cinema creating an intimate atmosphere.
The movie they were watching was a sweeping romance.
As the story unfolded on the big screen, Rahul felt his face heating up.
He had spent years harboring feelings for Ishani, but he had never dared to imagine being physically intimate with her.
Watching the intimate scenes on screen, however, stirred something deep within him a sudden, intense realization of how much he wanted to be close to her.
He felt shy, almost overwhelmed by his own thoughts.
Suddenly, Ishani reached out and
gently slipped her hand into his. She rested her head on his arm, her eyes fixed on the movie.
Rahul felt a jolt of electricity run through him. He turned his head, watching her profile in the soft glow of the screen, his heart pounding in rhythm with the quiet, romantic music playing in the theater.
Everything felt perfect.
Ishani turned her head and suddenly found Rahul's face inches from hers.
The dim light of the theater caught the flicker of raw desire in his eyes, and Ishani felt a blush creeping up her neck.
She was shy, but the intensity of the moment pulled her in she didn't pull away. Instead, she leaned in closer, a silent invitation hanging in the air between them.
Rahul felt his face heat up, his pulse racing so fast he was sure it was audible over the movie soundtrack.
His breath hitched as he watched Ishani inch toward him, clearly waiting for him to take the lead.
But he was frozen, paralyzed by the sheer weight of his feelings for her.
When he didn't move, Ishani didn't hesitate.
She closed the final gap and pressed a soft, tentative kiss against his lips.
It was just a fleeting peck, but to Rahul, it felt like a jolt of electricity.
He went completely still, his entire world narrowing down to the warmth of her touch.
Ishani pulled back just an inch, a tiny, knowing smile playing on her lips as she looked at him.
Rahul swallowed hard, his throat dry, his gaze locked onto her face with a mixture of shock and profound adoration.
He couldn't look away.
Feeling the weight of his intense stare, Ishani ducked her head, shyly resting it back on his arm.
She turned her attention back to the screen, trying to regain her composure, but Rahul couldn't focus on the movie at all.
He didn't care about the story on the screen all he could see, all he could feel, was her right there beside him.
The credits began to roll, and the theater slowly emptied out, but Rahul and Ishani stayed put.
They remained in their seats, the air between them still thick with the lingering tension of that moment in the dark.
Their emotions were running high, a quiet storm of affection they hadn't allowed themselves to feel in years.
Finally, Ishani stirred. She looked up at him, her eyes soft, and whispered, "Should we go? It's over."
Rahul nodded, his voice sounding a little strained. "Yeah, let's go."
They walked out into the cool evening air.
Rahul turned to her, desperate to keep the moment alive. "Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"
Ishani smiled, a playful light returning to her eyes. "I'd love some ice cream."
"Coming right up," Rahul replied.
He bought her a cone, and Ishani began to eat it with a childlike delight. Rahul didn't order one for himself he just stood there, completely captivated by the way her lips moved, the way she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. He couldn't take his eyes off her.
Ishani noticed him staring. She arched a delicate eyebrow and teased, "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Rahul snapped out of his trance, shaking his head quickly. "Nothing. Just... nothing."
"Let's sit somewhere," she suggested.
They found a quiet, dimly lit cafe nearby and sat next to each other on the plush booth seating.
The space was tight, and their shoulders brushed together with every small movement.
For Rahul, it was electric every single point of contact sent a jolt of warmth straight to his heart.
Ishani seemed to notice it, too, intentionally shifting closer so their shoulders and arms stayed pressed together.
"So," Ishani asked, turning to face him, "how was your day at the police station?"
Rahul sighed, trying to steady his racing heart. "It was... hectic, but I managed to get through it."
"Oh," she said, her voice dropping to a softer, more intimate tone. She tilted her head, her eyes scanning his face. "You know, you look incredibly handsome today, Rahul."
Rahul hadn't really caught a glimpse of himself in a mirror since the morning, and the sudden compliment took him by surprise.
He felt the heat rise to his ears, but he couldn't stop the wide, genuine smile that broke across his face.
"Thank you," he murmured, his gaze softening as he looked back at her. "That means a lot coming from you."
A waiter approached their table, his presence cutting through the quiet intimacy. "Would you like to order anything?"
Rahul cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "I'll have a dark coffee."
Ishani shook her head. "Nothing for me, thanks."
As the waiter walked away, Rahul looked at her with a hint of concern. "Are you sure? We can go somewhere else if you're hungry."
"No, Rahul, I'm not hungry," Ishani replied, her gaze softening as she looked at him.
She saw the familiar, shy tension in his shoulders and decided to bridge the gap. "Rahul, I'm your wife. You really don't need to be so shy around me."
Rahul shifted nervously in his seat, rubbing the back of his neck. Ishani reached out, her fingers closing gently over his hand. "Honestly, this constant shyness... it won't work between us now."
Rahul looked down at their joined hands, his voice barely a whisper. "It's just... everything is happening so fast, Ishani. I still can't believe it. I still feel like I'm dreaming that you actually proposed to me last night."
Ishani laughed, a light, musical sound that made Rahul's heart flutter.
She leaned in closer, her eyes locked onto his with sincere intensity. "Okay, if you need to hear it again, I'll say it. I love you, Rahul. I love you so much. Does that help you believe it?"
Rahul looked at her, his eyes shining with a mixture of relief and pure, unadulterated happiness.
He let out a shaky breath, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Hmm. Yes... now I believe it."
Ishani smiled, her heart swelling with emotion. "Now, your turn. Tell me you love me."
Rahul held her gaze, his shyness finally melting away, replaced by a deep, unwavering conviction.
He squeezed her hand and said softly, "I love you, Ishani."
Ishani leaned against him, resting her head comfortably on his arm. She felt a profound sense of peace wash over her.
"There hasn't been a better day in my life than today," she whispered.
Rahul looked down at her, resting his chin lightly on the top of her head.
"For me, neither," he replied, finally feeling like he was exactly where he belonged.
Night fell, and they stepped out of the restaurant, hands firmly intertwined.
Their faces were still glowing with the warmth of the evening, and a soft, happy silence hung between them.
Suddenly, without warning, the sky opened up. The first drops of rain
turned into a steady downpour.
"Come on, Ishani! Let's get to the car before we're drenched," Rahul said, pulling her toward the parking lot.
But Ishani didn't budge.
She pulled her hand back, looking up at the dark, weeping sky with a radiant smile. "No, wait. I don't want to run. I want to feel this."
Rahul hesitated, his protective side kicking in immediately. "Ishani, be reasonable! You'll catch a cold. We just got you back on your feet."
Ishani laughed, the sound mingling with the pitter-patter of the rain."Then I'll drink some kadha tomorrow, just like you did yesterday!"
Rahul made a face, grimacing at the mention of the bitter herbal drink.
Ishani giggled at his reaction. "Okay, fine! I'll drink the kadha, and you can just take your medicine. Please, Rahul? Let's stay."
Rahul looked at her, defeated by that infectious joy. "Okay. Just for a little while."
As the rain washed over them, a strange, beautiful feeling took over.
It felt like that first, innocent brush of teenage love all nerves, shy blushes, and heart-racing excitement.
Ishani stood with her eyes closed, her face tilted upward to catch the rain, looking like a dream.
Rahul stood mesmerized, watching the water droplets trace paths down her skin.
He stepped closer, his hands moving to cup her face gently. He wiped the raindrops from her eyes and cheeks with his thumbs, his touch careful, as if she were made of glass. I
shani opened her eyes, locking them with his. The air between them was heavy, charged with all the things they hadn't said yet.
When neither of them made the next move, Ishani didn't wait. She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace.
Their wet clothes clung to their bodies, but in the cool rain, the friction felt searingly warm.
They could feel the steady, frantic thumping of each other's hearts against their chests.
Rahul finally let go of his hesitation, hugging her back with a sudden, possessive intensity.
He held her as if she were the only anchor he had in the world, his hold saying everything his words couldn't.
Ishani closed her eyes, resting her head against his shoulder, feeling a profound sense of safety.
She was his, and he was finally hers and in the middle of the pouring rain, nothing else in the world mattered.
After while holding her close in the middle of the rain, Rahul whispered against her hair, "We should get in the car, Ishani. You're shivering."
She reluctantly pulled away, and they dashed toward the car.
Rahul opened the door for her, making sure she was comfortable before walking around to the driver's side.
As he leaned over to help her fasten her seatbelt, the space between them vanished.
Their faces were inches apart, the air thick with tension.
Ishani watched him, her heart fluttering. She thought to herself, He's too shy, he won't make the first move.
Just as she leaned in to take the initiative, Rahul's hands flew up to cup her face.
His grip was firm, his eyes searching hers with a new, sudden courage.
"Ishani..." his voice was husky, almost breathless. "Can I kiss you? Please?"
A soft, loving smile bloomed on her lips. She nodded, her eyes shining with permission and want. "Yes, Rahul... kiss me."
That was all he needed. Rahul closed the distance and pressed his lips to hers in a deep, tender kiss.
The touch was warm, soft at first, then grew more passionate. He sucked her lower lip gently, savoring her taste, pouring all his pent-up emotions into that one kiss.Ishani melted instantly.
Her hand slid to the back of his neck, fingers threading through his hair as she pulled him even closer.
She kissed him back with equal hunger, her lips moving against his.
When she parted her lips invitingly, Rahul groaned softly and deepened the kiss, his tongue gently meeting hers in a slow, intimate dance.
The kiss grew hotter, slower, more intense. Their breaths mingled, hearts racing wildly against each other.
Rahul's hand moved to her waist, holding her possessively as he memorized the feel of her mouth, the sweetness of her tongue, the little sighs escaping her.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathing heavily, foreheads still touching.
Ishani's cheeks burned red. She shyly buried her face in his chest, clutching his shirt tightly, feeling his heart thundering under her palm.
Rahul smiled, his own chest rising and falling fast. He wrapped his arms around her, one hand gently stroking her back.
"Did I do it right?" he whispered, voice thick with emotion. "Honestly... I've never kissed anyone before. I just watched a couple of videos I wanted our first kiss to be perfect for you."
Ishani lifted her head, her eyes soft and full of affection. She let out a gentle, sweet laugh and cupped his face.
"Hmm... you kissed me so well, Rahul," she said softly, her thumb brushing his lip. "It felt beautiful. Really intimate... and perfect."
Rahul let out a relieved breath and pulled her into another tight embrace,
kissing the top of her head tenderly.
The car felt like their own little world, warm, safe, and full of unspoken promises.
Then Rahul and Ishani somehow managed to pull away from each other's arms and drove back home.
The moment they reached, both quickly changed into comfortable night clothes.
Rahul gently picked up little Ishaan, who was sleeping peacefully, and carried him in his arms to his room.
He laid the child down carefully on the bed, kissed his forehead tenderly with all the love of a father, and whispered, "Sleep well, champ."
Then he switched off the light and stepped out, closing the door softly behind him.
Ishani was waiting for him in the hallway.
She had already made two glasses of kadha and warm milk and handed milk glass one to Rahul.
They drank in silence, but their eyes kept meeting, full of unspoken emotions.
Their hearts were racing with a strange mix of nervousness, love, and desire.
After finishing, they both went to the bedroom. They sat on the edge of the bed, side by side. The room was quiet except for the sound of their fast heartbeats.
Rahul looked at her and said softly, "Shall we sleep now?"
Ishani nodded. "Hmm..."
Rahul switched off the main lights, leaving only a soft, dim bedside lamp glowing.
They both lay down on their sides of the bed, but neither could stay away.
Slowly, as if pulled by an invisible force, they moved closer to each other.
Their breathing grew heavier in the soft golden light. They looked into each other's eyes for a long moment.
Then, unable to control themselves any longer, Rahul pulled Ishani into his arms and kissed her fiercely.
This kiss was different deeper, messier, full of raw hunger. Their lips moved desperately against each other, tongues dancing, a little saliva mixing as they lost themselves completely.
Rahul's hand slid down and gently lifted her leg, wrapping it over his hip, pulling her body flush against his.
Ishani moaned softly into the kiss and sucked on his lower lip while he did the same to hers.
His hands roamed over her back and waist, exploring her curves with passion.
Ishani shivered under his touch, her body responding to every stroke. They could both feel each other's warmth and excitement pressing close.
Ishani became aware of Rahul's hardness against her and instinctively tried to move her leg away, feeling shy and overwhelmed.
But Rahul held her leg firmly in place, his breath ragged. He was struggling hard to control his strong desires and emotions.Ishani gently broke the kiss, placing her hand on his chest.
"Rahul... we should go slow," she whispered breathlessly, her voice full of love and hesitation.
Rahul rested his forehead against hers, eyes closed, trying to calm his racing heart.
"Okay," he whispered back, his voice husky. "We'll take it slow... I promise."
Ishani smiled softly and nodded. But even then, Rahul didn't let her go.
Their bodies remained tightly pressed together, limbs entangled. Ishani could clearly feel his arousal, hot and firm against her, but she was too shy to say anything.
Rahul, lost in the haze of his emotions, didn't fully realise how obvious it was. He simply held her closer, kissing her forehead and cheeks tenderly, both of them breathing heavily in each other's warmth, lost in the beautiful, intimate moment.
